I am interested in building with hempcrete.
Does anyone out there have similar interests?

I have an acquaintance down here in Pembrokeshire who is interested in growing hemp to supply the hempcrete industry. We may volunteer a little of our land for the purpose too!

My own building interests tend more towards stone, timber frame and cob - the traditional materials in the British Isles. I like their aesthetic, the feeling of being in spaces built with those materials and the fact that, when looked after, they can last for centuries.

I think Nancy Reading is also living on Skye, by the way!

Hi, Yes I'm based in the NW of the island, I'm guessing by your profile that you're at the South end if you were involved with Rubha Phoil previously (or currently?) I've added your post to the natural building forum, where hopefully it will get more views. Please tell us more about your project.
