Hi Kathy,

this forum is bursting with information (and nice people) and I am almost every day on here.

I actually can't help you with this topic but if you are really into permaculture and gardening/farming you have answered your question already.

I recommend for any step you do in your gardening check permies first, ask for solutions and after you see the results and gardening mistakes you have avoided you will not need to re-register anymore.

...just my 5 cents to it.

Hi Kathy,
Complete computer ignoramus here, but for what it's worth:

First: I use Permies on three different devices (2 desktops and a linux based tablet) all of these I am permanently logged in on and never have to do more than open a tab in the browser. I never use a phone type device though, so if this is what you use then it may be to do with this.

Second: Do you mean signing in with password? Just to clarify - registering to me would imply opening a different account.

Third: When I borrowed my husbands Ipad I did have this issue - having to use email link sent for logging in. I wonder if it could be an apple feature?

My suspicion is it's something to do with your computer settings. Is it cleaning your cache memory or something so forgetting your Permies information?

I hope this helps.

Another possibility, do you unsubscribe from the daily ish email? I think that closes your account for posting until you reactivate it.

~I wanted to reply to each of you, but maybe im just not computer savvy enough to know how~I do get frequent permies emails, tho, and maybe it is just a sign in thing, but it is often a different process each time~Im on a phone, too, not a computer~
