Multiple Streams of Income

I have always had and promoted multiple streams of income so if one drops off you have something to fall back on and I have done pretty well over the years. I was able to retire at 49 (60 now) and live off my royalties and side stream income because I live off grid with no house payments and no utility bills.

I write off grid living guides and design off grid cabins, vardos, tiny house and other off grid project plans and sell those at a low price from my website and through Amazon and other sources. I collect residual royalties on books, ebooks and videos through Lulu, Amazon and Youtube. Money I make is used to help design off grid housing for homeless veterans, people in need and pay for materials for projects I build to show people how it is done.

Website: https://www.simplesolarhomesteading.com/

I am also an Amazon Associate and make video and written product reviews and have an Amazon store for off grid equipment.

Amazon Store: https://www.amazon.com/shop/solarcabin

I own solarcabin channel on youtube and have been producing off grid and homesteading videos since 2006 before Google owned youtube. Over 250 videos of all the projects and adventures I have had over the years and still making videos. I also write songs and those songs on the first video are some I wrote and play and "I am my own man" has now been recorded by a few other artists for their albums.

I owned a local pest control business for many years and set my own hours and had no boss to answer to. I built up a large base of customers as families spread the word and word of mouth and having a good and honest reputation is how you build any business.

If you have a talent. skill or can produce something in demand from your homesteads you should have no problem starting a local business but know your local laws and get a license if needed.  Some businesses are strictly regulated but online businesses not so much.

Come on by my website and channel and have a sit on my porch and join the off grid community for daily updates of my adventures with Taz and Tuffer dogs!

I listened to Paul's residual income podcasts fifteen(?) years ago. I got started in youtube and now have a few ebooks. I know airbnb isn't a 'residual' income but it is one that pays all it's own bills and makes your tax burden lighter. Growing a garden to feed your airbnb and allowing them to help with farm chores gives you five star ratings but also lightens your farm work burdens. Here is a video I made about revolving homestead income where everything brings in a little and feeds the next part of the cycle.

When it is used for evil, then watch out! When it is used for good, then things are much nicer. Like this tiny ad:
