Hello from Florida.

We just bought acreage in north Florida after retiring from the military.

Just found this forum - any advice on where to begin on this site for the best intro information?

We have a lot of new folks joining and learning recently, I am one of them!

I would recommend checking out the relevant forums that interest you on the side bar but I would like to encourage you to check out the SKIP/PEP/BB forum that we have that is about skill development and pathways to hands-on permaculture experience.

If something interests you like 'Biochar' I encourage you to look up threads with keywords to see what has been talked about before and perhaps start a new thread if you don't find the information your looking for!

Hi Nadeen.... Skipper here in North Florida Homestead on 5 acres... We are permaculture practitioners, and KNF enthusiasts.... We are newbies to homesteading--- it is not our identity, it is just a way of life and a tool we use to enrich our lives... Its also allows us to always be in a state of preparedness -- should any hanky things happen with our countries Commercial / Product Food chain...
