Search function not working

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I cannot get the search bar to work on either the desktop or mobile site. Other buttons that don't work on the top bar are my profile and my notifications.
Not sure if it's a site problem or browser issue. Have tried on Edge and Duck Duck Go.

Can you describe what not working looks like?

I just tried mine on an IPad. It works OK.

This is a screenshot after typing in the search bar and hitting enter. Similarily, if I click on the BELL for "my notifications" my screen looks exactly the same.
Actually I cannot attach an image either. When clicking on Attachments, nothing happens. Could this be because I have an adblocker?

The edit my post button doesn't work and I can't use the search function to search for the thread to post photos in order to link them back. So I'm stumped. I have never had this issue with this site before. Many of the buttons don't work and when I say don't work I mean I click them and the browser does not change, nor show any signs of processing.

Do you have a wireless mouse that could be running out of batteries? Or a mouse that might just be in the end of its life?

If you've posted the pictures elsewhere on Permies you can go to your profile to find recent posts quite easily.

I have an ad blocker and don't seem to have a problem.

Try rebooting or clearing your cache/cookies?

**SOLUTION** (kind of)

Ok, so an update...it was in fact our ad blocker. We white-listed the problem pages so I can now use the site properly. HOWEVER I want to call attention to the site developers that the reason I was having that issue is that the jquery library they are using directly from Google is obviously reporting some kind of usage analytics. If the library was downloaded to the site server instead of being used directly from Google API it would not fail to download for people who have tracking blocked. This presents an issue in my mind on this forum because many of us do not want to be tracked and by white-listing the pages to use the permies site correctly, I now am subject to possible IP address or search query reporting. Can one of the staff members report this to the developers as something to look into?
