Love this quote.

I believe in upward spirals of incremental change, inspired by hard-working, positive people such as Paul.

Good things start small, and take time, but they eventually come into their own. Excelsior!

I love Fritz Schumacher. I have several of his books, and quote him extensively in my upcoming book on living at a human scale and pace. Favorite besides Small is Beautiful, "A Guide for the Perplexed."

I am seven pages away from finishing "A Guide for the Perplexed". It is so wonderful. I hope there is an audio version of it because I really really really want my sister and brother-in-law to read it.

I'm probably denser than you. I had to read it several times before it started to gel in my mind. LOL.

I guarantee you are NOT (edit: dense, I mean!). This is the fourth time I have tried to read it. I could not make sense out of it. Then a couple days ago I reread the chapter on Education in "Small is Beautiful" and had a "That's IT!" moment--realized that chapter is a summary of what he was trying to explain in his Guide. Not easy reading, for sure, but an unparalleled look at things, in my opinion.

So glad you're writing a book on some of these topics!
