So here we go I've been in permaculture for a while
now, but quite minimalistically to be honest,
I have veggie garden and chickens, some trees,
and some neglect, would wish for helpers,
but I'm just not so difficult that I like to be alone most of the time...

So at least I would like to share some of my writings and ideas in and around permaculture
with likeminded people who just get it.

I think of theoretical aplication of permaculture
on wide scale and also I like to toy with the
idea of its implementation through the realm of
fiction, so now and then you can tell me if my
stories are enjoyable to you.

Please someone tell me which place on the forum
would be most suitable for sharing such stories,
and where it is the best to talk about possibilites
of its progression in the world?

thanks

kind regards

Welcome to the forum.

It sounds like you will have some interesting stories to tell us.

I can think of two forum where you might place these stories.

We have a fun forum that is called Meaningless Drivel though it is not so much meaningless.  That would be a great place to start off:

https://permies.com/f/12/md

We also have a Writing forum:

Hi Marko, Welcome to Permies!

To answer your question, this whole site is dedicated to both theoretical and practical implementation of organic and Permaculture principles.  It is a little difficult to point you to the single "right" place.  However, maybe if you narrow down your definition just a bit I could give you some ideas.  For instance, my fascination is using mushrooms to break down wood chips into wonderfully fertile garden bedding.  If that interests you, I can point you to several threads that might suit your interests.  If you have another, more specific idea, I am sure that we can narrow down the focus to find the right areas.

Once you start finding the initial focused areas, I have found that those areas inevitably touch on other areas and will likely give you that broader interpretation of of Permaculture that you are looking for.

Does this help at all?  If so, I am sure that we can begin your permaculture journey very soon.  If you are thinking of something else, maybe we can find that other area that sparks your interest.

Good hunting!

Welcome Marko,
Glad you found us. As you explore Permies, from the home page down the left side you will see topics that might help you decide just where to post a particular story. You could even start an autobiographical thread on your particular permaculture journey.  Staff has the ability to move or merge a topic to an appropriate location. But let's say for instance you want to discuss your veggie patch. You would go to growies and start a new topic thread, or you could do a search in growies about your particular topic. You could then add to a topic that is already in progress if it is germane to your story. So many topics on permaculture it's hard to limit where to suggest you post. Looking forward to hearing about your efforts, both successful and the unfortunate failures that occur as we all learn.

Halloo Marko.
You based in Holland?
Must be lots of wwoofers around if you need help with your project.
Most of us here are introverts and difficult and like to be alone, oh yeah and poor, cause society sucks and nature is endlessly mre fascinating.
I'm Dutch, living in France. With so many permaculture going on on the socials in Holland i'd have thought more here where the real action is...
Anyway.
Here's for writing.\

No, not in Holland. Yes I would like helpers, but first would need the "management cadre" so to speak to set up things to run smoothly and not needing me all the time every second and every tiny issue, I'm not one of those hardworking farmers running around trying to do everything by themselves, its just not me, I prefer to let others shine, in long term it would be great to have permie people who meet from time to time and do stuff together, who knows in the long shot maybe even starting a close knit community is not beyond my dreams, though it might get time to get to know the right people.

just out of being curious - how would you summarize of what's going on on
dutch socials on permaculture?

thanks for link,
maybe care to look one of my stories there?
Hoi
