Your feathered friend looks like a bird of prey,, any idea what species?
Also just wondering where your hydroponics are located, it looks semi-tropical.

Yep does look like a bird of prey, but I have no idea what kind of bird sorry.

I am in zone 9a in Florida.

Could be a red shouldered hawk? Very pretty.

Well for what it's worth, there is a subspecies of red-shouldered hawk (extimus) that does inhabit Florida, and is supposed to be the lightest color of all the Red shouldered Hawks, the one in your pictures does look rather light in color.
