Cedar River here. Just bought 120 acres with a river and a 1 acre fish pond. Still assessing where I can have positive impact on the land. Always looking for help.

I've been living with friends on Garden peninsula the last two summers. Another family has 1400 acres of sand ridges and peat bogs. Looking for people to help develop the land.

Save the Date!  The Wisconsin Permaculture Convergence is coming to northern WI this Sep 5/6/7.  Not quite the UP but similar in spirit and only an hour away - physically, not the time zone thing :)

Keweenaw, here.  Still have snow up to our middles, though I think Negaunee and Munising were a little more "blessed" in that department than were we at the end of this season (assuming we're nearing the end, that is!).

Anyone need some farm help?
I come with goats, cats, organic farming/livestock knowledge, and my own off-grid set up.

Sorry to post this in the UP thread but Rhinelander is only an hour away from the UP and this event is going to be awesome:

Sam Thayer (famous forager) is keynote speaking at the WI Permaculture Convergence this Sep 6th!!!

The event is shaping up to be amazing.  At least three local musicians, Sam Thayer, workshops on wool, food storage, forest bathing, tracking, mushrooms, natural medicine, and much more.  Pre convergence longer workshops on wild rice harvesting, flax processing, pig processing and more.  Free camping (or rent a room/cabin at the resort).  Many meals included.

The price is really low, not sure if it's an early bird deal but you can get tickets now on a sliding scale from $300 down to $75 if needed.

The location is a beautiful northwoods resort with 1000 acres of woods to roam and a lake to swim in.  And bar, restaurant, coffee shop, pool, etc.

You can get your tickets now: Wisconsin Permaculture Convergence Sep 5,6,7 in Rhinelander WI

Bump - It's only 2 weeks away and the offerings keep getting better due to healthy ticket sales: https://www.wisconsinpermacultureconvergence.com/
