Someone explained this to me today:
If you can stand on your porch naked and your neighbors can't see you, you are rural.
If you can stand on your front porch naked and the neighbors can see you, you are urban.
If you can stand on your front porch naked and the neighbors call the police you are suburban.
If you run naked to the chicken coop because you forgot to close the door you are homesteading.
Our inability to change everything should not stop us from changing what we can.
By this definition, Robert, I'm definitely homesteading, lol! Walking the dogs (sighthounds/spaniels must be leashed on our property, for their own safety) is occasionally done in the buff, too!
"The only thing...more expensive than education is ignorance."~Ben Franklin. "We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light." ~ Plato
In the buff … no, but all the livestock have seen me in my BVDs. The police have not been involved. The only ones to express an opinion has been the goats …..baaaad! I keep the cell phone away from them.
I learn from the mistakes of others who take my advice.
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! And this tiny ad too!
