Just want to know what animal this was

They found this animal decomposing under the building where i work and we have been trying to figure out what it was but with no luck.

It looks like something from an old Twilight Zone episode. You wouldn't be having us on now, would you Raven?

Fangs, incisors, extensive scissor teeth indicate a predator or scavenger. How big is it?

No seriously, is there a tail? that will probably tell us more. I'm thinking possum, from the jaw, scale of jaw to front leg, and the long hairs on the torso, but the tail will tell for sure.

Looks like an opossum to me. The teeth patterns seem to match. When it decomposes a little more the eye sockets can help determine for sure.

My boss said it was medium sized and that the tail was like a rat tail
