When I sign in I have to type in my email and password, it wasn't that way before, will this be fixed?

I thought I'd add, my email address auto loads, but it moves to a second page where I have to type my password. It used to auto fill on a single page. It's been a couple weeks maybe?

Android, with brave browser.

I alternate between an iPad and android phone.

Your browser settings can be changed to auto fill passwords and they will appear when you tap on username/email.

Check your browser settings.  If you have cookies enabled, you probably never have to sign in (it's been years since I last had to remember my login deets for permies)

I only have a MAC computer no phone no pads no tablets etc.
When I try to sign in it generates my email but won't put it in, so I have to type it in, then it goes to another page where nothing is generated and I have to type in the password.

You should be able to set up your browser to type all that for you.  Pretty sure that's a feature on MAC.

Or you can set up your browser to keep you logged in by accepting and remembering cookies from permies.com

Otherwise, you get to type it in manually.

Anyone here have a MAC and can help say where the settings are?

I'm still a bit confused by the "problems signing in".

You signed in to make these posts, so that worked.

Are you wanting to never log out or are you wanting the computer to remember your login deets and fill in those for you?  This is both local to your machine and not a permies thing.  Perhaps there was an update that turned off the settings?

I logged out and in again.

I have my browser set to remember this login.   Had the two stage login.   My browser filled in both fields as expected.

Maybe a screenshot of what you are seeing?

My browser didn't have any issues filling in the details with the new method.
