Hello, I am an old  suburban man who likes to forage . I especially like to find blueberries, wineberries,  morels, maitake, chicken mushroom, and chanterelles, but I won't turn down a young bolete or puffball. Except the bolete Chicken-Fat Suillius - never again - my hands were orange for a week!

I wanted to make acorn flour since I have oak trees but almost all of my acorns float. All say the floaters are no good. So, one Google search later, I found Greg Mosser here, who may be able to supply the cold-leached labor-intensive flour that I desire.

Clearly there are many other interesting things here - I know I'll be browsing around and learning skills!

I'm glad you and I made it here too.
I mention it to people and am surprised how many haven't made it yet.
They are on their way here, even if they don't know it yet.
