Recently I noticed that I can no longer change my permies.com display to Desktop View on my mobile phone. Clicking “Desktop View” at the bottom of the page does nothing but send me back to the top of the page. I have tried both the IPhone default browser and Firefox. Requesting desktop version through Firefox does nothing. Did something recently change with this feature?  Desktop View has worked much better for me in uploading photos for badge bits.

Huh. I am rarely on a desktop anymore, but I dislike mobile view. Desktop features are missing. So years ago, I went to edit profile and changed site personalization. See below. I never see mobile view, and I'm a happy camper. Arrival of the new server did not interfere with this feature.
