Hi guys, I am planning to add a minimal quantity of gypsum to my pig feed, so it will be fermenting with extra calcium and sulfur. In theory, it should provide bacteria with extra sulfur, so the cystein and methionine content should be higher...

Let me know what you think about it!

I have heard of food grade gypsum being used in the creation of tofu, but haven't considered it with pigs. I'd be curious to hear what others think!

Thanks for asking the question on pig feed supplementation!

This is new to me though I feel it is a great idea.

This gives the pigs added nutrients and the waste will fertilize the soil.

What are the proportions that you will add?  Or how much gypsum to how much feed?

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
