I am interested in starting a meetup in the Northeast texas area in order to discuss permaculture and to create an open forum for learning. My idea would be to start by going through chapter by chapter the big black book (permaculture designers manual: Bill Mollison). It would work for me to meetup in Longview, or perhaps somewhere else. I would like to hear all comments, questions, concerns, anything. If you are interested please respond so at the very least I will know if there is a big enough group to do a meetup.

Thanks!

I am in Greenville and interested, but only in Greenville or nearby. We are building an ecovillage there and actually teach PDC classes plus other classes. You came to work one day at the ecovillage, Daniel. So far, it sounds that we are geographically far apart. I have a Permaculture (north and East Texas) meetup group if you want to try it.

I am moving now. When you said you were in Greenville, I knew exactly who you were. Thanks for the invitation, but i am going a bit further west to Cranfills Gap, near Waco. But I am going to use meetup also. Do you think that area further west is too far west to be a part of your meetup group?

Resurrecting an old post here, but worth a try. Newish to the area and new to Permaculture - was wondering who all in Northeast TX are "Permaculturing." We're in the Gilmer area!

We're making our third 11 hour drive to tour homes/ properties in the area East of Dallas. I've found a few homesteads with businesses via Google Maps, but I'd like to continue making connections before Spring activities begin.
Looks like Paris may be our winner.
