Hey guys,

I submitted my first couple of badges this week and one was submitted as an "edge-case" with a request for more information.

I edited the post with requested information, but couldn't see any re-submit button anywhere. From what I've seen from other people who have posted questions about re-submission, I'm guessing that there isn't one and that you should just wait for re-approval. That's not a problem, and I don't mind waiting, but I just wanted to make a suggestion to potentially add a re-submission button to the edit feature in badge forums if it's not too difficult.

Feel free to reject the idea, I just thought it might help people in future who have felt similarly confused.

Adding a link for the BB needing submission would help:

Sorry Anne, thanks for that.

I mainly just wanted to make the thread to suggest a re-submission function, not worried about fast tracking the review of mine!

First off, on every post there's a "report" button that allows you to raise it to the attention of staff. You can use that if you want to report a spammer or someone being jerky or get a second look at something or whatever.

Second, the really correct way to handle this is to resubmit a new post that will meet the criteria of the BB rather than editing the old one. I totally understand the impulse not to clutter up the threads with duplicates, but there are a number of (mostly boring) reasons that the extra post is better.

That makes sense. Like you said I had to urge to limit the post to 1 per submission as some of the photo heavy threads are very lengthy/heavy.

I'm sure there's something about this on the original SKIP explanation post that I probably missed, so I'll go back and have a re-read first

The overall mission is to change the world. When you've done that, then you can read this tiny ad:
