It’s been getting warm a little early this year, but I guess that makes sense because it’s been warm all winter. Our snow pack is about half gone and everything is gray and patchy. But! We got about 6 inches of snow yesterday and everything is fresh and beautiful now that the sun is shining bright.

That is a beautiful scene.  I love the barn in the distance.

Thanks for sharing.

My coworkers are in The Cities and they got no snow, but it was a super-grey day down there.

More on tap for tonight.

Yeah, same here!

It's 35F now and sloppy mess, but still pretty. :)

Your comment was from yesterday.....I assume that applies to today and for the rest of the coming week??   ;-)

If y'all could put your collective minds to it and send a bit of that 'global warming' up our way, it would be appreciated just now.....Thanks! lol

It’s been cold here in the Northeast with some freezing rain forecasted for tonight. Friday school was delayed due to ice on the roads. I hiked today and there was still some ice and snow in the woods. Still it was a good day for a hike.

I did find this gem. A seldom used hiking trail not far from my house that had many surprises. It was an easy hiking path and would be good for kids  that included a beach, cliffs and forests on 2.1 miles of trail on a 700 acre preserve. I had the place to myself on a sunny Saturday albeit at 34 degrees.
