Sourdough gingerbread, ginger snaps?

I wonder if anyone has tried this!  I have been putting cinnamon and nutmeg in Kate Downhams sourdough chocolate cake recipe, and thought gingerbread might be delicious

Got any suggestions, or a clue where the sourdough conversion is on permies.

Here is a recipe for sourdough gingerbread cookies. This cookie recipe can be cooked after an hour, or long fermented in the fridge for up to three days, the best and healthiest way.

And as a bonus, there are several other sourdough cookie recipes!

I find it easiest to convert recipes to sourdough when there is some water or milk in them, otherwise adding sourdough starter changes the texture too much.

My favourite gingerbread recipe is for pepparkakkor and contains a fair bit of milk, I might try converting that to sourdough and will see how it goes and post here! I think my children will be very happy if I have to test this one out!

I did see online once a sourdough gingerbread bread recipe, which was more like a normal loaf, but with spices and molasses added, it looked really good. I can't remember the source now.

I went to Alaska a couple years ago and bought a sourdough cookbook when I was there. There is a sourdough gingerbread recipe in it. I actually tried it last week and it was pretty good. I’m not really good at baking but I think someone with a little talent could make something really tasty with it. I have a picture of the recipe since I sent it to my friend but I don’t know how to put it here.
