I went out and got my ham radio license after listening to the show you did on the subject with Jack over at The Survival Podcast.

That doesn't really have anything to do with permaculture or alternative energy, but I'd just like to say thanks for putting out so much useful information in a way that's easy to understand.

Hi Steve, well since Paul has started speaking about your dvd's and linking the page on scubbly's I was set thinking how I could make a little energy system on my land where I don't have a house or any facility. I'll be building a small cabin in october and would love the idea of building a small system. I'm really a dummy in these subjects. And hearing everyone that has watched your videos say that one can learn really easy is incredible for me. I'll put aside some money to purchase them, now I have other priorities, but you're on my list. Great work and thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Lorenzo Costa, what you need to do, so you can learn how to setup and size a simple solar system is to listen to the 'Solar Chicken Coop Show' I did with Jack Spirko. Its at http://www.Solar1234.com and I go through the complete setup and sizing of a system that can be small or large, yet simple and affordable. Me making a system for the chicken coop is no different than making one for your little cabin you are going to build.

After a week reading what you have written and you share your knowledge, I really want to thank Steven Harris, if only people that have specific skills like him had the guts and the willing to share in a fair way like he doe's the world would be a better place.

Sean we have an app thing that randomly picks two people that posted questions. Out of those two people, Lorenzo was the only one on the daily-ish email. So he is the only one that gets a prize, well and whoever referred him to permies that is.
