C. Leteller : The funny thing about solar cooker purveyors, is no one wants to study to learn how their forefathers did it !

You bring the whole thing up to temperature and then put the 1st course into a haybox and plunk in the second course !
Instead of just cooking one meal, and that usually a casserole, using a couple of 'hayboxes you can cook for Two days
with one days worth of sun shine !

But I did sign up to follow this site on F B For the Good of the Crafts ! Big AL

Ah, they are talking about the SolSource! See Joshua's review in the SolSource mirror cooker review thread.

In the Double Solar Oven thread, Rebecca talks about using a different parabolic cooker called a Scheffler cooker.

The parabolic or mirror cookers cook much hotter and faster than the perhaps more common solar box cookers. I'm just learning about these things myself!
