It's 2026 and Nathan Fillian has dropped a few shiny teasers...

Nathan Fillion has reunited with several Firefly cast members in a series of cryptic videos teasing a mysterious announcement set for March 15, sparking speculation about the franchise’s future.

From here! Several shortshort videos included in the article.

However, in the caption of one of the videos, Nathan Fillion has already shut down a few popular fan theories. “Some of you have guessed convention, podcast, or cross-over. You are wrong,” he wrote.

Oh, how I would love to see more of Firefly!

My brother-in-law posted about this on Fecebook over the weekend and I'm determined not to get too excited. :-)

Ok, I haven’t seen Firefly, but I have wanted to for so long.

My all time favorite for that era (mid-late 90s?) has to be Babylon 5.  It was an amazing series that was intended to run for a full 5 years and its conclusion was essentially written before the first episode.  It was incredibly ambitious and had to compete directly with Star Trek DS9.

And it changed TV story telling where stories, even full seasons are told in arcs where the events of one episode directly impact future episodes—sometimes out of the blue!

My favorite, but I need to give Firefly a chance.
