Hi Jeremy. Your last post here was 3 months ago. But I understand you're still there (the 'boots' mention you and your cat). I hope to see new posts from you, about the Ant Village or other adventures at Wheaton Lab, soon.

Thanks for thinking of me Inge! Yup, I've been here. I just haven't really been doing much of interest to the community. I'm still waiting for a good thaw before I can get back up to my plot on the Lab and start work again.

Thank you for answering, Jeremy. I'm looking forward to seeing new activities in the Ant Village (when the snow has gone)

Well helloooooo there. It's been quite a while, but I'm back! Spring has sprung here at the lab and I'm getting back to work where I left off last fall. Let's see if I can get my house built before winter THIS year, haha.

Hi guys! Sorry I've been radio silent for a while again. I've just been slowly working on my cabin. I've got some posts up now. Go check out my YouTube channel for new videos: https://www.youtube.com/user/jerButler87

I also have put out a call for volunteers to come help. Check out the thread here: https://permies.com/t/121685/experiences/Volunteers-Timber-Frame-Cabin-Ant#977487

Thanks for your support!

I'm done on my plot for the winter. It has been a great year. Things progressed slowly, but I don't mind. I've learned a lot and had a great time doing so! I just got back from an Asian timber framing workshop with Mr. Chickadee. That was an awesome experience and I learned a lot of things that I could incorporate into my timber frame cabin!

Have a great winter folks! I'll be back in the spring.

Oh and there are some more videos to check out on my YouTube channel:
