I think permies would get the value of archaeologists & anthropologists since so much of
permaculture is lifted from societies around the world in time and space.
There was an interesting part in this where Ruth is trying to fix up her "workman's hovel" and she knows that they used reeds on the floor but has no idea how they used them! My guess would've been that they would have woven a mat but I guess they didn't have time for that sort of thing.
Check out all they did with
no fossil fuel. The "crane" they use to lift all that materiel.... it's like something from the Flintstones!
And for everyone who has taken a
PDC or tried to make a "[level]
swale, our friend the "A-frame" makes an nice appearance!
