Just wanted to share a link to a YouTube video of this campaign.

They only have about 26 days left to raise 60k more dollars for the film. I have been subscribed to Louie Schwartzberg's YouTube page for a while. He is an incredibly talented film producer. Even my 2 and 4yr old kids stop running around to watch and ask questions when I put his videos up on my TV and turn up the volume.

Here is the YouTube video for the KickStarter...

Can someone embed the youtube video for me? Thanks!!!

I think it wouldn't embed because that was a shortened or something youtube link. Here ya go!

FWIW, the youtube links that work with the embed button are where the URL follows the format https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLsxZegPzm4 - the "v=xxxxxxxxxxx" part is the youtube video unique id number. Often, there is a "&blahblahblah" following the id number. Delete the & and anything after it. These are just codes that tell where you found the youtube video (what link you followed).

Thanks Jocelyn!

You have now taught this man "how to fish" instead of just catching the fish for me.

The funny hat the guy was wearing in the video is actually a giant dried mushroom. lol

I want to share that I just got an email from their campaign stating that bees are highly reliant on fungi. So I suspect that they plan on putting some of that important knowledge into the film.

Just fast forward to 9min and 25 sec for Paul Stamet's speech on his discovery on the relationship between bee and certain fungi...

Thank you Miles!

I now retract my statement about learning how to fish... and move to "you can't teach an old dog new tricks". lol

I will keep trying!

They made it!!!

Here is an email update I got from their campaign...

"Last night at 1am ET, we crossed the finish line and we hit our first goal of $100,000!

Dear Backers, take it in! This is YOUR moment to celebrate! You believed in this project enough to put money behind it, and thanks to your generous support, Louie, Paul, Lyn and crew can make a film that has the potential to change the course of life on this planet.

But we're not done yet! With 10 days yet to go, we're setting our sights on our STRETCH GOAL!

Our next stretch goal is $125,000. The additional funding will give us the budget we need to film time-lapse of mycelium, giving the perspective of lifting up the forest floor to reveal the mysteries of this underground network."

This is going to be so cool.
