Penpals?

I searched and I didn't come up with anything previous, so...

Wonder if any permie.com persons would be interested in penpaling? It's quite a low-tech, mindful way of communicating! Of course it requires you to be comfortable with sharing an address with a stranger, and you have to buy postage stamps...which could be an interesting experience in it's self. A few years ago now, I convinced a teenager to send me a postcard - it was the first time they'd ever sent mail through the post office. Ever. In their life. Even if they never do it again, at least they'll be able to say they know how to do it, and in the future they'll be able to tell their incredulous grand children about this ancient process!

I think it would be fun and interesting to be able to write to permie-minded people the slow way now and then. What do you think?
