Rus Williams wrote:what is the tiny download exactly?

I just updated the page a bit.  Is it clearer now?

Make it clear on the header that this is a live stream event OR video after the fact.

Is the after the fact video downloadable or stream only.

Better now?

App. tech course may be confusing, suggest change to appropriate  technology

I was limited by kickstarter.

Make it super obvious which level of support people can get the downloaded video for the pdc.

Better now?

Suggest to start with a advert about what people will get (attractive) rather than talking about what you are doing (not as interesting)

For example
"This is your chance to follow along with one of the worlds best pdc and appropriate technology courses from the comfort of your own home! Learn from some of the best instructors in the business and help us to share permaculture with the world by investing in the technology we need. etc etc
Learn about hugels, swales, design thinking, appropriate land use etc etc

Excellent point.   I put an "Executive Summary" at the top.  Better?

Yes, we are intending to make gobs of mp4 files available for download.   Each mp4 will be about a gigabyte in size.

Might be worth adjusting the thread title to be loud and proud about it kicking off.

Pssst - the price for the ATC video (after the fact) is $60, but it still says $50 in the text description (the one you have to scroll way down the page to see, in the main text column.)

I'm late to the party but would've voted thumbs up for thumb drive, just not for $300.

If I download 100 GB of files in a month it'll likely cost me $800 (thanks Verizon)....

Still backing for downloadable videos to support the empire, just not realistic for me to download, or watch.

Campaign looks great, enjoy the event everyone that's going!

I have been using verizon unlimited for about 3.5 weeks now.  In fact, this will be 1/2 of our internet solution during these two events.

Do you have a laptop or tablet? If so, you could potentially go to your local library to do the downloads.

I've been downloading the tiny download PDC videos and found that the filename for 48, day 11, has an issue. Instead of mp4 it reads m4, making it unusable until changed. Scoured some forums and this seemed to be the place to inform everyone.

I think I just fixed it!

Any other issues?

I found the proper forum and posted there, but since you're here:
PDC video 59's file reads as 57, though the rest of the title is good

Great stuff Paul, thanks for the opportunity. I have no excuses to be bored with this available.
