I am just curious.

Question 1)

On 3/18/2018, I go an email with "Hot dog! You have been awarded with 1 pie slice for having 80 apples!"

On 4/07/2018, I got an email "___ sent you 1 slice for your excellent post in the topic titled "repairing repair"

Based on that  I gave a member one of my two pies.

Then on 4/11/2018,  I got an email  " This is to inform that your pies are about to expire in only one week. Please buy more pies before Apr 18, 2018 15:48:20 to avoid cancellation of your pie membership."

I had given that pie away on 4/07/2018.  The only PIE I have should expire on 5/18/2018.

Will I lose a PIE on 4/18/2018?

Question 2)

I have 94 Apples; Is PIE still awarded for every 10 Apples?  If so, I didn't get a PIE for 90 Apples.

I can offer a little input with question 2. I got pie at 90 apples and again at 100 apples. I did not get pie at 110 apples, so I guess it ends there, unless it goes to pie every 20 apples after going over 100, but I haven't gotten there yet.

I couldn't find the thread but somewhere recently Paul said the pie awards for apples would go to every twenty rather than ten apples and that the price of a slice of pie would go from $2 to three dollars...I know I read that somewhere, just don't remember if it was in a thread announcing it or a post in another thread about pie?

Anne, I have noticed what you mention about giving a slice away and then finding the slice left is due to run out soon.   Maybe when we give away a pie slice it is always the newest piece?

Yup, 20 apples to get a piece of pie.  Used to be 10.

All of the pie prices were set super low as we go things started.  I left the price for 144 slices really low for a while - and just now put it up to the regular price.

While I was there editing stuff, I upped the number of additional bumper stickers a user with pie can have.

Pie runs out every 30 days.  So if you have 12 slices, then in a month you will have 11 slices.  It sounds like the system is working okay.  Were you hoping that when you gave away the piece of pie that the recipient would get the half a slice of pie?

When I first became aware of pie, I read something that gave me the impression that if I gave my soon to be expired pie, (having only 1 pie slice) that the recipient of that slice would have it for 30 days. Is this not so? Have I been giving away pie to have it expire for the recipiant in just a day or two? My assumtion was that if I DID have a second slice, I would still have it, giving away my about to expire pie to be rejuvinated as I stated above.

I'm just grateful to those people who have deemed some of my posts to be worthy of pie.

Thanks, that is what I thought might have happened though I could not find it in a search

No, I was just curious, why the email with the 4/18/2018 date.

My PIE "transactions" shows that I gave away the one ending soonest and says I have PIE until  5/18/2018.

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks everyone for the PIE.

Joylynn, that was my assumption also.

So as a test I gave away my newly acquired PIEs.leaving me with one remaining PIE.

Here is my transactions:

As of 4/14/2018, "My pie transactions"  showed 4 PIEs

I know I was given a total of 4 PIEs since 4/7/2018 and I  had earned one on 3/18/2018 for having 80 apples.  So I had a total of 5 PIEs.

When I was given a piece on 4/7, I had a total of two PIEs so I then gave away a PIE. That left me with one PIE.

When I posted about the glitch I was given 3 PIEs so I had a total of 4 PIEs.

I gave one away on 4/15/2018 that said it expired 6/18/2018.
I gave another away on 4/15/2018 that said it expired on 5/18/2018
Today, 4/17/2018, I gave away a PIE that said it expired on 4/18/2018.  It says I gave the PIE at Today 5:51:57 AM.

Today, I still have one PIE.  I was given two PIEs that show an expiration date of 5/18/2018.  I only gave away one of them.

So here is the Glitch:

I received an email today,Tuesday, April 17, 2018 7:27 AM,  that says:  This is to inform that your pies are about to expire in only 2 days. Please buy more pies before Apr 18, 2018 15:48:20 to avoid cancellation of your pie membership.

I still should have a PIE that expires on 5/18/2018.and the email was after I gave PIE away.

I am going to give away my last PIE..  I like earning apples so I can earn PIE as it keeps me active.
