did they wax or oil the wood before putting the sliding handle in? that is similar to the way my dad built our bathroom door. and I can vouch that the waxing made it much much better.
This is from the south east corner I believe....but it's a corner I had not been to till today when I was working on the cow fence. We had a few nasty storm clouds rolling in but it's still beautiful!
Thanks so much for posting these pictures Kristie. You guys are doing an amazing job getting the place established and building your permaculture around you. So good to see a family living and working together. I'm sure someday your kiddos will enjoy looking back on this time in life and seeing what you, Tim, Jocelyn and Uncle Paul have involved them in creating. Mmmmmmm now for the good stuff! My huckleberry desert....actually it's my grandma's recipe an she always made it for my birthday every year! Now to freeze it an have some on Wednesday....
