Anyone have a source for long, thin sewing needles with long eyeholes?

I find that in a given pack of sewing needles, only two are nice to use. I love LONG needles (at least 1.5 inches) that are thin and sharp. That way I can really "load up" my needle when doing a straight stictch, and the longer needle is also easier to hold. The skinny needles make smaller holes and are easier to poke. But, usually the only long needles are thick, and the only thin ones are short. And, they usually make the eyeholes really tiny, when I know they can make them longer--I've had a few needles like that, so I know it can be done!

I can't be the only one that likes long, thin needles with longer eyeholes. Does anyone know what these needles are called, or where to find good ones?

Thanks!

I thought they would be milliner's needles... but I'm not so sure after finding this guide from a company in the UK:

I wonder if the type of needle you are looking for is a 'beading' needle?  I think I've had some in the past...some are really long but the thinner ones are somewhat flexible.  Some of them do have a nice long eye.

I know what you mean about packets of needles...I must have hundreds left over from when I need just a particular one and buy a whole packet.  There must be places to buy just one? or a few of the same kind?

This company sells all sizes of hand sewing needles some have big eyes and some have long eyes.

The larger the number, the smaller the needle.

Crewel/Embroidery Needles by Richard Hemming - have a longer eye - sizes 3 to 10

Big Eye Quilting by John James  - size 11

Big Eye Quitting by Richard Hemming  - sizes 10 to 11

I got some needles from this shop https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/kimonomomo

very sharp, a much longer/finer point than I'm used to.  They go in deep - and into the cloth very easily too.

Forget this weirdo. You guys wanna see something really neat? I just have to take off my shoe .... (hint: it's a tiny ad)
