This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Metal Working.

For this BB, you will be making a sturdy metal work table!

Here is one way to do it:

To document your completion of the BB, provide the photos or video (<2 min) of the following:
 - The supplies you're starting with
 - Partway through the build
 - The finished sturdy metal table

I was recently helping my girlfriend get her new business set up.  Part of this involved welding a bunch of metal tables, 9 in total.  I cut the steel for all of them, but will only submit for BB's the ones I actually did all the welding assembly on which is 3 of them...  Crap, I just realized I never got photos for 2 of them with the final tops in place.  Grr.  Ok, so I'll submit one for now and try to get the photos for the others.  (It's a long distance relationship so they are on the other side of the country!)  So if you are thinking "that's a big pile of supplies to build this one table" you are right.  It was to build 9 tables!

The one I'll submit now is for a 3 sink station.

This is the big pile of steel for all the tables. (sticker shock when buying it all, steel prices are crazy right now!)
