This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Dimensional Lumber Woodworking.

Ok, the zombies have come and gone.  The plumbing doesn't work.  But there's a river nearby.  How to get water from the river to our kitchen?  I know, let's build a wooden bucket!

This BB is modeled after the PEP BB for Wood Bucket.  Perhaps you can get that BB as well.

Here's a rough and tumble bucket:

And here's a cool video of a real cooper:

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
  - At least 3 gallons
  - No glue
  - With handle
  - Almost water tight (or better)

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The wood you're going to use for this project
  - Midway through the project
  - Finished bucket filled with water
  - Finished bucket 2 minutes later showing how much water has leaked out

We begin by testing your absorbancy by exposing you to this tiny ad:
