when you cut them down the middle you can see the 5 pointed star of the seed pods
If you leave the apple seeds in the core and let them sprout, the points of the seeds will grow down through the hole where the stem of the apple was and the roots of the new trees will form
every time you eat an apple, save the seeds and plant them
Plans for the day's project include:
- planting 100 seeds each of apple, plum, apricot, and cherry at Basecamp
- eating apple-themed foods as part of our dinner
- watching the 1948 "Johnny Appleseed" cartoon
