Hey there SKIP friends! I had fun collecting seeds on my walks and Sunday drives around my town.
The 6 seeds I collected:
Asparagus -found along a canal bank
Chokecherry -found in the local wildlife preserve
Wild plum-found along my walking path
Lambs quarter- found in the wildlife preserve
Box elder tree-found along my walking path
Sunflower- found along the edge of a hayfield where I walk sometimes.

Everything pictured is within a few miles of my house. I had no idea just how much variety I would find so close to me.

I’ve got another one! So happy that this is repeatable. I’m learning a lot about my local plant life.
The species is found came primarily from the local wildlife preserve except for the mullein. I found it along a dirt road a few miles away from home when I took a drive with my kids.
Rose- from the rose hips.
