Reuse Water From a Shower - PEP BB greywillow.sand.showerwater

Captured shower water as the water heated up!
Then emptied the bucket into our yard onto the lavender trumpet vine that needs some love.

Collected water from poo-less showers in my 3 gallon bucket and watered my pee spot with it.

Our family caught water from when the shower was warming up for a while. It was enough to water a newly planted shrub and an 8' raised bed.

My submission for the BB.

Captured water from my shower into a big metal pail. (I estimate it’s a 5 gallon pail)
Used the water for my apricot starts and the lilac bush.

Been Pooless 3 years now! I rinse with water and dry off with a linen towel, taking extra time rubbing my hair and scalp to get excess oil off. Works great. 👍👍

-The bucket I'm using holds .75 gallons.
-I plugged the tub to capture all the water while taking a shower. The first bucket I filled with water from the spigot as it was warming up, and dumped it in the toilet. (I actually dumped 2 buckets of water into the toilet, since it didn't fully flush).
-I filled the bucket a few times with the captured shower water to give to some plants outside. (This was hard to take photos of without making a mess)
-Then I used the remaining water in the bathtub to hand wash my clothes, for whatever that's worth.
-All together I re-used much more than 3 gallons, but I photo-documented 4 buckets full which equals 3 gallons.

Minimum requirements:
  - Place a bucket in your shower to collect some of the water as you (and others) shower
       - It might only collect 10% to 20% of the water, and that's okay for this BB
       - It might take a few days to get enough water
  - Use the bucket of water to flush a toilet, or to water something outside
       - At least three gallons
       - From pooless showers only!

The fph shower is the source of the water, post shower. I caught the cold water as I turned on the tap as well.

Catching the first flush from our shower. The watering cans are 9L, which is 2.37 gallons. So the two bucketfuls were about 5 gallons all up, as they are a bit bigger than the watering cans.
I put them on the roses and the herb pots. The dogs wanted to help, of course!
