Hey Jeremy, I see what you're saying about the kinnikinnick photo. I didn't think to ensure that the berries were in the photo based on "clear image of the wild species" - I suppose it's because I would need the leaves to identify the species, I wouldn't be able to identify it based on the berries.

I harvested a bunch of kinnikinnick to restock and while it was drying I picked off the berries - collecting the berries for this BB was, admittedly, an after thought. I have a different photo of kinnikinnick from that day that I harvested kinnikinnick where there's a berry in the bottom left of the photo. This has caused me to rethink how I'm documenting this BB so I'll try another approach in the future!

*Note that I added a revised kinnikinnick photo to the above BB submission. Please review, thanks!!

I went camping and found so many new plants to collect seeds from! My favorite find was the black hawthorn tree! Hopefully this approach to documentation works better.

The species I found, in picture-order, are:
Black hawthorn
Blue grama
Currants
Pinyon pine
Spider flower
Winterfat

I'm resubmitting this BB since my kinnikinnick photo caused it to be an edge case. I recently went hiking and found a new handful of kinnikinnick AND made sure to capture seeds still on the plant in the background.

I foraged:
1-acorns
2-houndstongue
3-kinnikinnick/uvi ursi
4-plum
5-rose hips
6-three leaf sumac
