Tomorrow at 5:30pm mountain time, we will discuss reading material and homework.  I will embed a zoom link where only paid students can see it.

This is going to be a pretty intense class for people that are bonkers about gardening.  The more you know ahead of time, the more you will get out of the class.

I haven’t seen this zoom link yet, and it starts in about 45 minutes. I got an email yesterday saying that there would be an email going out today with the link. I haven’t seen that second email yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Looking forward to the event!!

I haven't sent it yet.

Have you looked in the private forum for the reading material?

Will the Zoom link go to the $200 on-line folk as well?

So for anyone that missed the zoom (and of course paid the dues!) how do we find the “homework” - I assume it’s a bunch of recommended reading/watching?

Very excited for this class and grateful for the online option!

I do not see the forum (wheaton labs garden master ) on the list on my forums page and the links Kirk sent say I don’t have sufficient privileges. Perhaps my email address need to be added on the Permies side for that forum? I may not have been given access. Is there something else I need to do on my end. Just curious.

Angela,

I don't see your name on the roster for in-person peeps.  And I don't see where you have purchased the on-line version.  So, yes, maybe a different email address?

I sent Angela a gift code for the live-stream course.

Angela, what happens when you click the gift code link I messaged you? You might have to scroll down and click something to activate it.  On my Ledger page under the "course gift code" it still says "pending". The other two codes seemed to have already gone through / been activated successfully.

Oh perhaps I need to click on the link. Wasn’t sure if that was just for the live stream. I’ll test it out.

Well, it looks like I had a brain fart duh moment and should have clicked on the link Kirk was so kind to gift me with. Ay caramba. Anyhooo. I believe I have corrected my mistake and am now able to access the forum and the homework. Off to study I go. Gracias amigos.

Hi,

This class seems pretty cool, but I got a few questions about it:

1) Will this class be available in next year(2023)?

2) How much overlapped material between this class and the PDC class? Is there material covered in the PDC class, but no cover in this class?

3) Will it be possible to add more material related to temperate zone like 7a, 7b?

Thanks.

We are planning to offer the class in 2023 - although we have not started selling tickets yet.  It probably will not be videoed again.

Probably less than 5% overlap.

Will it be possible to add more material related to temperate zone like 7a, 7b?

I think the course was focused on zones 4 to 7.  Warmer zones were mentioned.
