All my fruit trees have fully flowered but they are too young to produce fruit.  The youngest are starting their third spring.
Do I need to cover with frost cloth for an expected hard freeze?  (low 20F)  Or should they recover?

Other people may reject you but if you lie in the forest floor for long enough the moss and fungi will accept you as one of their own!

Frost cloths help with frost. They don’t raise the temperature much.

They are probably fine, but it depends on what kind of trees they are?

They should be fine as is if you are not concerned about fruit. I'm assuming they are not tropical trees ,(citrus, avocado, etc)

Sometimes the answer is nothing

I'm guessing the trees will be just fine but the blossoms will definitely get damaged.  So no fruit this year but the trees can put their energy into getting bigger for next year.

Thanks for the help.  They are Pluots, Plums and Asian Pears.  Looks like the Kiwi is blooming also.

The trees should be fine. Kiwi varieties have a lot of differences in how much cold the can stand.

I buried the hardy and a fuzzy kiwi in wood chips and the tall A. Chinensis (Fuzzy) I have was wrapped in frost cloth and I included Christmas tree lights to add some warmth.  Fingers crossed.
