I have about 6 pieces of ~6 inch wide, ~8 inch pieces of treated wood, then all normal twigs (not logs), wood chips a plenty?

such a small amount, don't think it be a big deal.

A 2nd idea I guess I could possibly bury these tall weeds with seeds on top, and IF buried enough the seeds maybe would have no chance of germination?

The tall weeds with seeds will probably be fine with enough soil piled on top to prevent germination.

Treated wood has some very toxic chemicals. I wouldn't use that.

I'd avoid the treated wood as well.  I think the wood chips would do a better job of mulching over the weeds to make a planting area.  Significant proportions of wood chips aren't recommended for a hugel.

So I guess I will bury un-treated wood.

Do a lot of digging for hugel!

Trimmed pieces from treated wood have many useful purposes IMO. I keep all my treated wood ends. Burning them seems a waste; by design, they don't readily break down in contact with living soil. Why not leverage that? A few ideas:
- chocks behind wheels
- place under rubber tires for parked vehicles/trailers to prevent tire rot
- place under trailer jacks to prevent sinking/freezing in
- use as shims to raise/level small movable buildings, or protect the structure from rot
- if all else fails, stack them at the end of your driveway with a "free" sign; quite a few may disappear as knowing people drive by

Found out wood was NOT treated wood.  So can bury.
