Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm originally from the northern part of the state. My family relocated in 2008 due to the economic issues of the world. It was unexpected but we embraced and made the best of the change. We moved to our current home in 2013. I've been looking to
permaculture for a long time as I love efficiency. Having to maintain a full time job really cuts into my time at home but at least I get to teach kids how to start friction fires and make sharp tools. My current projects include building a rabbit
tractor to raise some meat bunnies on grass. I'm still
pep talking myself to prepare for the butchering phase, but I do have some friends and a husband who have promised to assist with that part. I'm fine with the post death part, it is just the killing part that is hard for me.
It is harvest season as you all know so between chores and work, I don't spend a lot of personal time on the internet. Still I look forward to connecting and learning here.
Have a great weekend!
Kathryn
