I made an enormous batch of hot cross buns on Friday.
I was gonna make 'non-denominational circle buns', but a friend reminded me the cross was originally pagan anyway.
Whew; straight lines are so much easier to pipe!

Caramel covered onions or chocolate covered Brussels sprouts anyone?





I've also seen foil wrapped grapes instead of chocolate eggs. Ha!

Okay, I do think this wins the internet for an April Fool's Easter basket for teenagers!

(Though I would certainly change out the cleaners for natural ones - dang, we have several threads for that, not an easy choice to link here.)
