The Permaculture Technology Jamboree is so full of creative creations! See this Humus Well come together as it is completed by Eliot Mason with a bit of help. A nice level area, some plastic, some organic matter, and an area for the water to exit will give you a spring. The giant excavator is very helpful as it speeds up the process nicely. Great job Eliot!

Keeping it low-tech increases the number of people who can use this setup. This is a pretty large sized Humus Well and I imagine it can be done on a smaller scale, too.

These are not the droids you are looking for. Perhaps I can interest you in a tiny ad?
