Hi there! My name is Ashley with Backyard Living Source Inc. based in Meridian, Idaho. We are a greenhouse kit manufacturer of Grandio Greenhouses. We want to give back to the Permie community by helping to educate others about greenhouses and gardening. We have a couple of articles on our website and are planning to add more in the future. Feel free to ask any questions!

Thank you!

Hi Ashley - that's a lovely tall greenhouse! I don't expect it would stand my winds though....and I'm the other side of the Altantic from you. If you've got ideas for water saving and watering without plastic I'd be interested though :P

Hi Ashley, I've taken some time to browse your company's offerings and have a few questions.

I'm a little unclear on snow-load capacity. Is it rated for 25 lbs / sqft after I've installed the "additional roof and eave supports" mentioned in the Q&A tab, or before? Also, the roof on the Ascent seems a lot easier to keep clear of snow than on the Elite -- is that your (collective) experience? We occasionally get more than 25 lbs of snow in one fall (December 19th of 2022 took down a lot of outbuildings) and I'm not eager to spend $10,000 on a greenhouse that's just going to collapse.

The panels are listed with a 10-year lifetime. What does end of life look like? And do I replace them from my local hardware store or buy them from you or what? And actually, how long has Grandio been in business?

Also, the warranty feels like you're trying to present your work as being so good that you're going to stand behind it but it's so full of caveats and loopholes that it makes me fear you wouldn't have to honor it when things to go wrong. Can you speak to that and how the company actually handles warranty claims?

Thanks for stopping by!

Hey Christopher hope you're doing well!

For the snow load kit it is rated 25lbs/sqft after installation. As for the Ascent, the roof is a lot easier to keep clean. Typically snow will fall off but if any collects you can always use a broom to brush it off.

Our frames have a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. The panels have a 10-year warranty. I don't know what their end of life looks like, but if there are any issues or defects our warranty should cover it. All replacement parts come directly from us. We keep them in stock in our local warehouse.

Anything that falls under a manufacturer defect is covered by our warranty. If the greenhosue collapses due to weather conditions, the warranty does not cover that because it is out of our hands.

Our company was founded in 2005 and we have been selling Grandio Greenhouses since 2012.

We have a lovely customer service that you can contact during our business hours if you have any other questions. We have a live chat on our website or you can call our toll free number at  +1 866-448-8231.

Thanks!
