A big Permies welcome to Zach Loeks, author of The Permaculture Market Garden - A Visual Guide to a Profitable Whole-systems Farm Business

(All images sourced from: Kula Permaculture Farm)

Read the book review here.

Zach will be hanging out in the Market Garden forums this week (Feb 20 - Feb 24. 2017), answering questions and promoting his gorgeous new book.

If you have been thinking of starting up a market garden, or could use some pointers on how to make your current garden more efficient and profitable, now is the time to get some first hand information from a man who is deeply involved in the process.

At the end of the week, we'll make a draw for 3 lucky winners to win a copy of his book! From now until Friday, all new threads started in the market garden forum are eligible to win.

To win, you must use a name that follows our naming policy and you must have your email set up to receive  Paul's Daily-ish email.

The winner will be notified by email and must respond within 24 hours.

Please do not put Zach's name in the title of your thread. We like these threads to be accessible to everyone, and some people may not post their experiences if the thread is directed to Zach alone.

Posts in this thread won't count as an entry to win the book, but please feel free to say, "Hi!" to Zach and make him feel welcome!

Welcome Zach reading your book right now. Great to see finally a path traced for farmers that permaculture can be applied even to profitable work. I hope it will help move from the idea that many farmers have that permaculture is a sort of banned word and concept.

I never visited the Market Garden part of the forum. I'm not good at selling products. But I think in my garden (or whatever garden I work in, f.e. the community garden) the same principles, methods, techniques can be very well applied. So I'll make a new thread here
