Let us know if there are any kinks in this new feature!

Now folks can choose to pay with stripe.

It's like PayPal, but with more options. Stripe doesn't try to lure you into signing up for an account.  Your card details are all that is needed.

A bonus option that comes with stripe is that, for digital payments (except for physical DM items), you can even pay with Google Pay, through stripe!

The big thing to test is:  can you complete a transaction with crypto or stripe when you start off as NOT logged in?

Before, if you were not logged in, you could pay for stuff only with paypal.  But now, you should see all three options.

Of course, to complete the transaction, the purchase does need to be connected to an account, so once stuff is paid for, it will ask you to login or create a new account.

I saw all three options on the payment page. Stripe worked! My payment went through while I was NOT logged in. But I don't have access to the product yet while I got access to other products instantaneously after payment...

I see where you paid with stripe.  I don't see part where there is a confirmed sale on permies.  

What did you buy?

What happened after the payment was processed?

I didn’t see a stripe option.
Just PayPal and crypto.
I tried to pay with PayPal but it asked me to login to permites before completing.

 - part with coin with one of the options
 - then login or register to complete the transaction

hmm? No Stripe on offer before or after login. Bought it anyway. Enjoyed it.

So, what do we figure it would take for all 8 billion of us to be in meaningful conversation? I'm moving to this destination.

Paid with Stripe using credit card while not logged in, but didn't get access email yet.  It's been a while but not hours.

Edit:  Well that's ironic, while I was posting, the email showed up.

I tried two different mobile browsers on iOS, not logged in, and only see Coinbase and PayPal options, no Stripe.

I followed the emailed link to the document page, clicked on the Buy button, connected to Coinbase and got stuck of the verification page "make sure this is a merchant you trust...".
Clicking/swiping, staring intently, swearing, nothing makes that page go away, no way to proceed and complete payment.
Or maybe I've already paid 18 times, who knows?

To clarify:

I was using my laptop to buy the microdoc on rocket oven cooking. My stripe payment went through. I got a confirmation message in my email about from my credit card. I did NOT get a confirmation from permies. But I logged into my permies account anyway. No doc. I still do not have the item in 'my stuff'.

I visited the link again, this time on a computer (Firefox browser) and not logged in. Saw three options and ordered through Stripe. After the order went through I received a yellow pop up on Permies that asked for my email address to complete the order. Entered the address, all good.

Thanks for the apple in my earlier post. It did its magic, prompting my curiosity to see if Stripe now shows up on my phone (Samsung) screen.

Alas, it is the same. No amount if screen swiping brings up Stripe. Hmm?

OK, I got the purchase.  Somehow, even though I purchased it without being logged into Permies, it has been added to my Permies account.  How would this have worked if someone didn't have a Permies account?
