This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEA curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Greywater.

Water from cooking food is often wasted down the drain, losing the water and often the heat it contains.  Let's do something about that!

Minimum requirements:
  - Use a gallon of used cooking water for a useful purpose
       - Could be watering plants, hot water bottle, washing dishes, flushing the toilet, etc
       - Can be from multiple episodes

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 mins):
  - Used cooking water measuring at least a gallon
  - Using it for a productive purpose

I filled a 2-quart pitcher twice with water from multiple pots of pasta and used them to water a young peach tree and a patch of flowers.

Collected pasta water in an old gallon sized ice cream bucket over the course of a couple weeks until it was full. I watered a shrub in the backyard with it.
