The cats would find a way to get out of it, they are good at avoiding work :)

Somehow, someway, my cat would get it off her and push it off the edge of the table like she does everything else her paw collides with.

Talk about click-bait. Here I thought I was actually going to learn something about solar panels. This was a really cheep, cheep, cheep trick. (I'm a chicken farmer - no cats, cows or sheep for me!)
