Change my “handle” blurb

Technology challenged...how do I update the “blurb” displayed on my online profile??...it currently says something like SWF-66yrs...etc

I am not understanding your request since I don't see that on your profile.

I see it on this topic title so is that what you want to change?

...and still haven’t been able to change my m.d.wilson profile name to gypsymaja.

Are you trying to change your screen name from M.D. Wilson to gypsymaja?  I'm talking about the name that shows up at the top of your profile as well as your name on all your posts.

To change that you click on My Profile at the very top of the screen.  Near the top it lists your first and last name along with a link to Name Change Request Form.  If you click on that you can submit to have a new name.

FYI, we have a Real Sounding Name policy and gypsymaja would not satisfy that policy.

If instead you want to change the title of a thread (for instance SWF-66 yr old, Seeking Tribe.... we'd have to hit a button to let you fiddle with it.  That's easy enough to do so just say the word and you'll get a PM (Purple Mooseage) letting you know how to edit the post.

If your question isn't either of these things, could you try to explain it in a bit more detail?

I just hit the button so you should have received a PM with a link to edit the post.  You can edit the words in the post or the title.  

You can call yourself a gypsymaja in the title of the thread, for instance "Gypsymaja in California seeks poker playing gentleman for long bike rides and zip lining".  You just can't use that as your screen name.  Good luck!
