The fuel delivery system might be different, but doesn’t it achieve pretty much the same result - massive amount of heat, reburning of gases and highly efficient.

To qualify as a rocket oven, it needs a rocket flame: extremely high temperature in an thermal isolated chamber, inverted flame and it makes a characteristic noise like a rocket.
I don't think a pellet barbecue per se would do.
