In this video, Reid, a boot at Wheaton Labs provides an intimate tour of the off-grid "Love Shack" cabin, highlighting its unique features and eco-friendly design. The centerpiece of the cabin is the Mini Mouse, a miniature rocket mass heater that efficiently warms the small space even during harsh Montana winters. Reid demonstrates the heater's J-tube design and innovative heat shield, which allows for safe proximity to wooden surfaces while providing ample heat. Other notable features include the cob hat on top of the heater, which helps store and distribute heat, and the stove fan, which circulates warmth throughout the cabin.

Reid also discusses the Love Shack's solar system, which powers a few lights and USB outlets for charging devices. Additionally, he showcases the efficient use of space, with hooks and shelves for storage, as well as the indoor firewood rack. Large south- and west-facing windows allow for ample natural light, making the space feel open and inviting. The Love Shack is not only cozy and functional but also environmentally friendly, the tiny rocket mass heater uses significantly less wood than a traditional wood-burning stove.

What an awesome efficient little dwelling!

I love the internal heat shielding on the rmh! Is there an air intake opening on the rear of the hat to allow the fan to easily draw air across the mass and barrel?
